Don’t Upgrade To Catalina. . . Yet

by | Oct 2, 2019 | Apple macOS

macOS 10.15 Catalina arrives this month.

If you upgrade before reading this, you may regret it.

With any upgrade, the usual safety procedures apply, but with Catalina there is another consideration.

All versions of OX and macOS up to 10.14 Mojave run 32 and 64 bit Apps.

Catalina only runs 64 bit apps.

You probably have both 32 and 64 bit Apps on your Mac.

What does this mean?

If you upgrade to Catalina some of the Apps on your Mac may not work.

So . . . what can you do?

To find out what kind of Apps are on your Mac, check out this article.

Still want Catalina? Wait a few weeks until the first major bugs are worked out.

Always remember, you don’t need to upgrade immediately.
