150+ Five-Star Reviews

Your Mac and iPhone are more complex than the technology we used to get to the moon. They don’t even come with a manual. Is it any wonder they can be frustrating?

We’ve been helping seniors get more from their Mac, iPhone or iPad for over a decade. Every session is tailored to you — we move at your pace, explain things clearly, and make sure you feel confident before moving on.

Classes are private — at your home, retirement community, or assisted living facility, anywhere in Los Angeles.

Are you looking to help your parents? We work with many families whose parents are struggling with their devices — including families calling from out of state who can’t be there in person. See how it works.

Apple Computer Classes For Seniors

As your personal Mac tutor, there’s no limit to what we can cover — but these six areas are a great place to start, and even experienced users find something new here.

  • Mail – Staying logged in. Sending Attachments. Junk mail.
  • Safari – Banking. Shopping. Health Information.
  • Photos – Getting started. Creating Albums.
  • FaceTime – Video calls with friends and family.
  • Passwords – Failsafe tips so you never get locked out.
  • Online Safety – Avoiding scams. Security advice.

Our Apple lessons for seniors are a stress-free way to get comfortable with your Mac. Most people are surprised by how quickly things start to make sense.

iPhone Classes For Seniors

Our iPhone classes cover the core basics — phone calls, messages, email, surfing the internet, and the fun stuff — games, social media, books, and audiobooks. We focus on simplifying everyday tasks and using voice control wherever possible. Why navigate a maze of menus to call a friend when you can simply ask Siri to make a phone call for you?
Staying safe is important. We teach you how to spot and avoid the most common types of fraud and what to do if you think you may be the victim of a scam. You’ll learn how to create, store, and remember passwords, and how to use passkeys.

Our goal is to take the mystery out of your iPhone, giving you the comfort to explore it with confidence.

iPad Classes For Seniors

Apple’s iPad is the perfect companion for staying connected, entertained and engaged with the world around you. We cover the essentials — email, texting, and surfing the internet — and show you how to access games, digital books, audiobooks, and streaming content like news, documentaries, and movies.

The latest iPads have significantly brighter screens that improve readability, but we generally make our own accessibility adjustments for vision and hearing to ensure the experience is considerably better. Even small changes can make a big difference.

Once you know your way around your iPad, you’ll be amazed how much more you can get out of it. We can show you how.

Can You Help My Parents With Their Mac, iPhone or iPad?

Yes. We have worked with many sons and daughters who want to get their Mom or Dad some technical help. Many families call us from out-of-state because they can’t be there in person to assist their parents.

We understand that every family situation is different, and we will work with you to ensure your parent’s needs are met. Security and safety are paramount and we can provide references on request.

We use a 5 step process to ensure your Mom or Dad get the most from working with us and that you’re happy with the progress we’re making.

  • Before The First Visit – A phone call to understand what your parent struggles with, how they learn and if they have any health issues.
  • The First Session – Getting to know your parent. Assessing if any of Apple’s accessibility tools, like Siri will make things easier.
  • An Honest Assessment – After the first session, we discuss what’s achievable and how we should proceed.
  • Building A Schedule – Sessions start at an hour, frequency is flexible, and cancellations are never a problem.
  • Keeping You Informed – After every session we’ll let you know how it went — including the difficult days.
