How To Speed Up Your Mouse
Do you feel your mouse or trackpad is slow? Does it take a lot of hand movement just to get the cursor from one end of the screen to the other?
If the answer is Yes, this means your Tracking is off.
Even if you’re happy with the way things are . . . this is worth your attention. It’s a small tweak that may make things better.
I’ve had no desperate calls for mouse help during the pandemic, but I’ve done enough Mac Support home visits to know there are people out there suffering in silence with this problem. This is for you.
How Do I Adjust My Mouse or Trackpad Tracking?
Go to the black Apple in the top left-hand corner of the screen. Choose System Preferences.
In System Preferences, click on either mouse or trackpad.
When the Menu opens select the Point and Click tab.
Here, you will find the Tracking Speed slider.
Try moving it from Slow to Fast until you find the speed you are most comfortable with.
When you are done, click the red button in the top left-hand corner to close System Preferences.
That’s it. Have a great week:)
