It’s now easier than ever to share contacts with Mac and PC users.
Contacts are sent as vCards, the most common format for business card files.

How Can I Share Multiple Contacts?
Sending multiple contact cards at the same time can only be done from a Mac.
- Open Contacts.
- Select the contacts that you wish to share.
- In the Menu Bar, choose File, then Export…, and Export vCard.

- Choose a location to save the vCard file.
- The vCard file saved will be one file even though it may contain multiple contacts.

This file can now be shared as an attachment using Mail, Message or Airdrop.
Most people you share contacts with can simply drag the vCard file into their Contacts software.

thx for the help
Can you give me some more information: what device, what operating system, what program and a more detailed description of what’s happening. Thanks – John
John,
Very helpful! I have an odd issue that you might be able to assist with. I find when I put something in the Note section of a contact, the Note does not show up, when I send the contact information to another person. Is there any way to send contacts and retain the notes?
Thanks for your help.
I imagine the reason this is done is to maintain your privacy. You could have “anything” written down about a contact, and sending it to another party might not be wise. If you do want to send notes from a contact, just copy and paste them into a message.
